The International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B) unveiled a new addition to its academic repertoire with the introduction of an Executive Post-Graduate Certificate program in Cloud and DevOps tailored for non-technical professionals. This eight-month online course, facilitated in partnership with the esteemed edtech and upskilling platform upGrad, promises a comprehensive exploration of key services offered by industry giants Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), encompassing crucial concepts examined in AWS and Azure examinations.
Under the adept guidance of IIIT-B, renowned for its prowess in cloud development and DevOps, this program aims to equip learners with vital skills essential for the future landscape of enterprise software development. Director of IIIT Bangalore, Debabrata Das, highlighted the significance of DevOps in fostering collaboration, automation, and communication between software developers and IT operations teams, underscoring the program's strategic role in nurturing expertise in this pivotal technical domain.
The curriculum is structured to include over 50 live training sessions, delving into core DevOps proficiencies like continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (IaC). Participants will also gain insights into designing scalable microservices architectures, implementing robust monitoring and logging mechanisms, and leveraging AI tools for code analysis, security enhancement, and process automation.
Furthermore, the program ensures hands-on training for certification exams such as AWS Academy Cloud Foundations, Azure Fundamentals, and AZ-104, amplifying the learning experience for aspiring professionals.
